Luxilon is the official stringer of the Shanghai Tennis Masters Cup
Saturday, September 23rd, 2006Luxilon will again be providing stringing services to players at the year-ending Tennis Masters Cup to be held in Shanghai, China. from November 11 - 19, 2006
The top 8 finishers in the Indesit championship race (plus one alternate) will be invited to compete in this $4 million year-ending championship event which decided the 2006 cup winner.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have already qualified for the event and are expected to continue their 2006 rivalry. David Nalbandian, who beat Federer in the final of the 2005 event has stuggled to live up to expectations in 2006 but is still expected to join Andy Roddick, Nikolay Davydenko and Ivan Ljubicic in contesting this year-ending championship.

The event returns to Shanghai’s state-of-the-art tennis facilty on the south-west outskirts of the city. 7 indoor courts are included in this huge 43 court facility and the impressive main arena features a revolutionary 8-petal closing roof.

Luxilon is no stranger to China - and has been the official stringer of the China Open, held in Beijing, since the inaugural event in September of 2004 and has been official stringer of the Masters Cup since it was relocated to Shanghain in 2005.
