Luxilon is the Official Stringer of the 2006 WTA Championships
Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006Luxilon has been recognized as the leading provider of stringing services by being appointed as the official racquet stringer of the 2006 year-ending Sony Ericsson WTA Championships in Madrid, Spain.
Luxilon now provides player services to both the Shanghai ATP Masters Cup and the Madrid WTA year-ending championship finals.

The event begins on November 7 and the finals will be played on November 12.

Amelie Mauresmo, the winner in 2005, is currently leading the 2006 WTA rankings and will be seeking to retain her title in Madrid. Maria Sharapova, who won the event in 2004 - beating Serena Williams in an exciting final - is currently ranked number 3, and is on track to be a top contender for the 2006 title.
